Levis Commons today is a benchmark for enlightened town planning, quality architecture, exciting gathering places and new-to-market shopping, dining and entertainment.

In the distance along Levis Commons Boulevard, the next exciting wave of development is rising skyward - with more to come. To the west is our new landmark Clock Tower and fountains, which will signify the heart of the overall Levis Commons project. There will also be an elegant amphitheatre, a new town green, fire pit and whimsical art and play areas. Designed to be the grand signature of the project, the chime of the Clock Tower will soon be ringing in the heart of this dynamic community.

Since 2004, Levis Commons has become THE place to meet and make new memories. With the ambiance, the music, the shops, restaurants and cafes, the fountain, the events, the twinkle lights… Northwest Ohio has embraced Levis Commons as the premier place to live, shop, eat, work and play, but the burning question is... what’s coming next?

The big statistics are impressive. In its final form, J. Preston Levis Commons will be a $500 million dollar, 393 acre mixed-use community featuring national and local retailers and services, theatres, rental and for sale office space, luxury rental and for sale residential, loft-style apartments and medical facilities. Under construction are our greatest additions. Along with the clock tower and public spaces amenities are an Entertainment District, and a new Hilton Garden Inn hotel and a fully equipped conference center...and for the determined shopper, more national and local retailers and cafes.

What you see today is only the beginning of an even grander Levis Commons. To date, less than half of the land has been developed. Shaped by a carefully detailed plan, the entire development is centered around the idea of a walkable and stylish urban village, that has become one of the finest in America. Additional announcements of the next phases are anticipated before the end of 2007.

Dillin Corp, the master developer of J. Preston Levis Commons, is the guiding force for the overall development. The signature first phase, The Town Center at Levis Commons, opened in October of 2004 with a carefully selected collection of national retailers, cafes and restaurants, state of the art office space and the National Amusements Cinema. Today, Levis Commons is on track to showcase nearly one million square feet of retail and entertainment space, one million square feet of office and industrial space and over 1,000 residences. Levis Commons is the largest master planned, mixed-use project in Northwest Ohio and has set a new standard for community development.

The success is unprecedented. At this time, there are a total of 72 local, national and international businesses at J. Preston Levis Commons, with many more to be announced soon. The 184 room Hilton Garden Inn as well as a conference center are under construction now with an anticipated opening date of fall 2008, the 332 luxury apartments at Preston Gardens are at 100% occupancy and the stylish Brownstone Village town homes just broke ground on another phase, with the first two phases nearly sold out.

The $15 Million Entertainment District at Levis Commons broke ground in June with a first-rate line up of exciting new venues. New tenants are Nagoya Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi, St. Julian’s Fitness Center, Funny Bones Comedy Club, and Fat Fish Blue. Nagoya will open in November and St. Julian’s will open early in 2008 with the rest to follow soon thereafter.

Fat Fish Blue, "Home of the Funny Bone" is a unique 300-seat comedy showroom connected to a Mardi Gras-themed restaurant. Fat Fish Blue is a New Orleans-style restaurant and live Blues club. Funny Bone is considered America’s #1 comedy club venue. Through its respected network of showrooms, Funny Bone showcases a wide variety of local and regional comedians and renowned comedy superstars such as Drew Carey, Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Reiser, David Allen Grier, Ellen Degeneres, Chris Rock, Bobcat Goldthwait, Brett Butler, D.L. Hughley and Elaine Boozler. Nagoya Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi offers hibachi-style dining along with world class sushi. Amazingly, talented hibachi chefs entertain guests while cooking meals to perfection. St. Julian’s Fitness Center will be a state-of-the-art fitness center featuring a wide variety of machines and free weights, cardio machines with personal video screens and MP3 connectivity, full ladies and men’s locker and shower facilities and steam saunas, and a 'smoothie bar'.

Located just south of The Town Center, along Route 25, the Preston Place neighborhood is nearly 200,000 square feet of commercial space. Preston Place features a variety of neighborhood and local retail, convenience and boutique businesses and is currently open for business. A $7 million new phase officially began construction in July, and will soon announce a full tenant roster. Five new businesses have recently joined the tenant mix at Preston Place; Kidz Watch, Fiddle Stix Boutique and Gallery, Lasalle Dry Cleaners, and C. Sterling Jewelers.

Since mid 2005, several new service businesses have opened at Levis Commons. South Suburban Animal Hospital relocated to a new 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, Carpets by Otto unveiled its stylish 10,000 square foot Shaw Design Center, and we also enjoy the Toledo Area Community Credit Union's fifth, full-service branch at Levis Commons. In addition, we also welcomed The Doggie Boutique, specializing in all things canine, Bartz Viviano-Flowers and Gifts in their newest location, and eateries, Tea Tree Asian Bistro, and The Flying Bean coffee house. Rounding out the bevy of services are Lasalle Cleaners and Woodard Photography, some of the first store fronts at Preston Place.

J. Preston Levis Commons has become a landmark destination for the community of Perrysburg and Northwest Ohio. It is a tribute to our character and culture that still exists here, our need to develop quality places, and we continue to develop Levis Commons to make sure it offers something unique for everyone. It is more than a successful urban village, we believe that it is a place to live, embrace, and make memories. We invite you to celebrate our anniversary, and hope that the excitement building will give our friends and guests reasons to celebrate many more to come.
